Peugeot exhibits outstanding electric vehicle models, concept cars, and special limited edition models at the 44th Bangkok International Motor Show 2023

Peugeot Thailand under the management of Belfort Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the official importer and distributor of Peugeot in Thailand, unveils 2 electric vehicle models, concept cars, and special limited edition models such as The New Peugeot 408 PHEV, e-2008, 2008 Sport Concept and 2008 Sport Plus at the 44th Bangkok International Motor Show. The show starts from March 22 to April 2, 2023 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.

++ Unveiled the Electric Vehicles — e-2008 and The New Peugeot 408 PHEV

Peugeot Thailand raises the temperature of the 44th Bangkok International Motor Show by launching both 100% electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid — ‘e-2008’ model and ‘408 PHEV’ model. The e-2008 is a versatile SUV that is equipped with full LED headlights and taillights, vertical day-time running light resembling a lion’s tusk, frameless front grille, and front fog lights. The body of the vehicle emphasizes on the square shape that comes with the sleekness features around the doors line making the vehicle more rugged and eye-catching. The taillights resemble the Lion Claws contrasting with the shiny black line and 18-inch alloy wheels. The model is powered by 100% electric power with 50kWh battery capacity, producing a performance of 136 horsepower, 260 Nm torque, and running distance up to 340 kilometers (WLTP). It is fully charged in 7.5 hours or DC charge. 80% in 30 minutes. Moreover, it also comes with a 3-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty and an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty on the battery.

‘The New Peugeot 408 Plug-in Hybrid’ is the charm of French design under the concept of ‘The Language of Attraction’. It comes in a Fastback style with day-time running light resembling a lion’s tusk and frameless front grille. The rear is equipped with tail lights resembling the Lion Claws. The model also comes with19-inch alloy wheels which allows more space between the vehicle and the road. Peugeot 408 Plug-in Hybrid is beautiful like a hatchback but comfortable like an SUV. The model is powered by a plug-in hybrid of 1.6-liter turbo engine and electric motor with 12.4kWh battery capacity, producing a performance of 225 horsepower and 360 Nm torque. Moreover, the model is also equipped with 8-speed ‘e-EAT8’ automatic transmission, all-electric drive with a maximum distance of 63 kilometers (WLTP), acceleration 0-100 kilometers per hour in 7.8 seconds, and a top speed of 233 kilometers per hour. The cutting edge cabin comes with ‘Peugeot i-Cockpit’ — the latest generation of technology, including a 10-inch 3D gauge, a 10-inch multi-purpose touch screen in the center of the panel which is tilted towards the driver for maximum convenience. It is fully charged in 3.4 hours. It also comes with a 3-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty and an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty on the battery.

The ‘2008 Sport Concept’ is inspired by PEUGEOT 9×8 Hypercar — the vehicle that participated in the 2022 World Endurance Championship. It is a unique and specially designed hybrid vehicle.
