BYD is unstoppable! at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2023, in addition to the electric vehicles that BYD brings to the show for visitors to experience a variety of models. There is a new alternative energy vehicle that is gaining a lot of attention, called BYD DENZA D.

The appearance of DENZA D9 at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2023 shows that there are many consumers interested in this 100% electric luxury 7-seat MPV.

The displayed model in the event, is still left-hand drive which comes with a luxurious design. It is designed under the concept of Into The Meteor Arrow that stands out at first sight. Especially the large Matrix front grille in the form of chrome design which laid out straight lines.

The main logo is blue, comes with a sleek design of LED headlights and is covered with a chrome frame both in the grille and front chrome headlights.

For the side body, it is designed elegantly together with sliding doors on both sides The window frame is decorated with chrome material. Adding more luxury with 18-inch spoked alloy wheels wrapped in 235/60 R18 tires.

For the rear side,is a set of LED taillights that stretch across the entire area. Adding more luxury and more modern with roof spoiler and the third brake light.

The body size and dimension is 5,250 mm long, 1,960 mm wide, 1,920 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3,110 mm and a turning radius of 5.95 meters.

The interior design completes its luxury look with full facilities. The seats are available in 4-seater and 7-seater configurations, upholstered in Nappa leather, enhanced with heated and cooling systems while the 2nd row seats are captain seats with a 10-point massage function.

Another point of interior design is that it’s decorated with wood veneer pattern and Piano Black black material in the panel. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LED driving information display, a 15.6-inch HUD and touchscreen infotainment display together with a Denza Link voice command system and supports OTA upgrades.

The DENZA D9, is built on e-platform 3.0. It supports both PHEV and EV engines. For the EV version, it is available in both 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive.

As for the models shown at this year’s event It is a 4-wheel drive vehicle, which will be equipped with 2 electric motorcycles on both the front and rear wheels. The front 2 motors produce 230 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, and the rear 2 motors produce 45 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque, in total power 275 horsepower, 470 Nm of torque, acceleration 0 – 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

The highlight of this model is the battery with a capacity of 103 kWh, be able to run up to 600 kilometers per 1 fully charged, according to CLTC standards, and the battery supports charging up to 166 kW
