The new BMW S 1000 RR comes with a 999-CC 4-Cylinder in-line engine, water and oil cooling system, 4-Titanium valves per piston, and DOHC and BMW ShiftCam. The model delivers 154kW(210 hp) at 13,750rpm with a top speed of 303 km/h, and a maximum torque of 113 Nm at 11,000rpm, which enhances driving performance and acceleration while driving at various speeds. It has a fuel consumption of 6.4-liters per 100km and supports 95-98 octane unleaded fuel.

The model has a newly developed Flex Frame chassis and a new suspension system set up which comes with 4 aluminum parts welding frame structures that have been processed via Gravity Die Casting Method. It is designed to integrate the engine structure together. There are openings on the sides of the main frame to enhance lateral mobility. And the new chassis has also been developed in terms of precision, sharp control, and response from the front wheel more quickly.

In terms of design, the BMW S 1000 RR comes with a new front look, distinguished winglets, and a new rear that is sportier and lighter. The model is equipped with standard full LED lighting headlights, taillights and turn signals which emphasizes the sleekness and aggression of the BMW S 1000 RR. The new body is designed to have an eye-catching and elegant pillion seat which is distinct from the previous model.
